Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Nivoraw Story: 8/10 OK, the story is very complex and hard to understand, making it drop 2 marks. It needs to tell it better, because I dont even get some of it. From the point when you become Raiden and the General starts to tell you about the tanker, you start to delve into Raiden's troubled past. (Finding out about someones past is always interesting.) There are also a few little twists to the story, which turn out to be quite ingenious to the story, but I wont tell you about them, as you may not have played it, and it would ruin it for you. (If you haven't played it, and you are going to, try to guess who the Ninja is, it surprised me!) Gameplay: 9.5/10 You almost do everything on the game, from shooting birds out of the sky, to slip slipping on their poop! The gameplay on this is amazing, and yet to be bettered. There are many little things you can do, I love it (especially hiding in boxes) and every detail makes the game that much more interesting, dont you agree? Snake, and Raidens freedom of movement is phenomenal, they can just about do and go everything and everywhere. Graphics: 10/10 Truely amazing, the in game graphics are impecable. One thing that caught my eye, was that when you kill a guard, they dont fall through the walls, I have longed for a game in which this doesnt happen. The heroes movement looks very natural, personally I can't name a single fault with MGS2's graphics. Music: 6/10 The music kind of let the game down, some of it was good, but most of it wasn't. The only remotly good tune, was the alert tune, which was just lifted from MGS1 and edited a bit. Nothing much to add. Final Score: 33.5/40 84%
